Airport Rules and Regulations

Purpose

The purpose of these Rules and Regulations is to protect the public health, safety, interest, and general welfare of the Operators, Lessees, Sublessees, Permittees, and users of the Battle Creek Executive Airport at Kellogg Field (Airport), and to restrict or prevent any activity or action which would interfere with the safe, orderly, and efficient use of the Airport.

General Aviation Minimum Standards

Purpose

The purpose of these General Aviation Minimum Standards (Minimum Standards) is to encourage and promote: (a) the consistent provision of high quality Commercial General Aviation products, services, and facilities at the Battle Creek Executive Airport at Kellogg Field (Airport); (b) the orderly development of high quality General Aviation land and high quality General Aviation Improvements at the Airport; (c) safety and security at the Airport; and (d) the economic health of General Aviation Operators at the Airport.

Development Standards

Purpose

The purpose of these Development Standards is to  (a) set forth the City of Battle Creek (City) design and construction standards, policies, and procedures for the development (including construction, modification, and/or renovating) of aeronautical and non-aeronautical land and/or improvements at the Battle Creek Executive Airport at Kellogg Field (Airport); (b) promote attractive, high quality, consistent, compatible, and sustainable development; (c) protect persons and Property; and (d) preserve and/or enhance the Airport.

General Aviation Leasing/Rents and Fees Policy

Purpose

This General Aviation Leasing/Rents and Fees Policy (Policy) sets forth the parameters that shall be used by the City of Battle Creek (City) for leasing land and/or Improvements for Commercial and/or Non-Commercial General Aviation purposes at the Battle Creek Executive Airport at Kellogg Field (Airport).  In addition, this Policy outlines the process that shall be used by the City to establish and adjust General Aviation rents, fess, and/or other charges associated with leasing, occupying, and/or using Airport land and/or Improvements for Commercial and/or Non-Commercial General Aviation purposes.
